An early 20th century hexagonal lead planter
Circa 1930, attributed to the Hope Leadworks, Jamestown, New York. The planter having rope twist edging, framing six panels emblematic of the Zodiac signs Aries, Scorpio, Libra, Taurus, Pisces and Aquarius. Provenanced to the estate of the well known dealer and benefactor Michael Welby.
