The dimension of the cobbles is established, during the production phase, from the thick of the raw piece. Because its cubic form, the wide and the length will have, about, the same height, from 40 to 60, from 55 to 80 and from 75 to 120. Bigger cobbles are producted on request. The "irregolarity" of the surface's dimension is not a flaw but it is necessary to create the overlapping arcs scheme. The top surface are always natural cleft while the 4 sides are mechanically splitt. The cobbles are divided into categories for lineal paving or for overlapping arcs as follows:

Lineal paving:

• Type 80x80: the head size is 80x80 with a tolerance of about +/- 5 and the thickness varies from 30 to 60 or from 50 to 80;
• Type 100x100: the head size is 100x100 with a tolerance of about +/- 5 and the thickness varies from 30 to 60 or from 50 to 80;
• Type 100x random length: the wide is 100 with a tolerance of about +/- 5 and the length is random. The thickness varies from 40 to 80 or from 70 to 110.

• Type 4/6: the head size is included from 40 to 70. The thickness varies from 40 to 60;
• Type 6/8: the head size is included from 60 to 90. The thickness varies from 55 to 80;
• Type 8/10: the head size is included from 80 to 120. The thickness varies from 75 to 110.
