Product Description
Designed to be LEED Platinum Certified, 2000 Tower Oaks is considered the healthiest building in the greater Washington D.C. area. The focal point of the lobby is a 650 square foot, four sided illuminated honey onyx feature wall. Engineered with no visible steel and virtually no interruption of light throughout the entire wall, visitors can truly appreciate the movement of the backlit natural onyx surface. Included in the design are DMX-protocol dimming and a stainless steel bonnet which allows for ventilation through custom fabricated cowling. DURA-Lite? glass-backed stone panels were manufactured with varying thicknesses in the stone layer to provide depth and movement to the natural stone panels across this large surface plane.
The result: a freestanding four-sided monolithic backlit feature wall system with no external hardware or supports.
