Walnut Travertine Vein Cut
As with other types of travertine, the Travertine Walnut is a versatile stone that can be found on a diversity of applications such as flooring, cladding, coverings, diverse decoration. The Travertine Walnut is the black sheep of beige colored travertine’s. It presents a curious color scheme in the same stone, has limited availability and is less known. But in fact has seen a growing demand in the past few years, mostly due to its unique colors, which are less standard but attractive to many. This is a travertine to consider in the future.
The Travertine Walnut is a type of travertine with a beige coloured background, but that presents some areas with other colors such as green ,brown, blue and yellow. This is a particular type of travertine that is extracted in the same quarries as the Travertine Beige or Classic, but presents some color variations .There is a more limited availability of this type of travertine.
The Walnut Travertine can be mostly found in two forms:
- Cross
cut: where the slabs are cut agains the veinage. This gives a
surface with no veinage but instead a surface composed by shades with different
tones.
- Vein cut:
where the slabs are cut in favors of the natural veinage of this stone. This
type of Walnut Travertine
presents a well defined and strong parallel veinage. But the Vein cut
its beter than Cross cut in the face
