The types of finishes define the final texture of the material, being marble or limestone, produced and finished by different processes. To choose the type of finish must be taken into consideration not only the visual aspect of the material, but also check with the supplier for their most appropriate use.
Sawn - natural finish, typical of materials just sawn; does not show the tone of the product;
Polished – smooth and shinning texture, showing the tone and characteristics of the product; flooring use;
Honed - soft and smooth surface, without the shine of the polished finish, used for facing and fa?ades;
Bush-hammered - whitish and rough surface, antiskid; finish suitable for exterior floors and walls;
Brushed – irregular surface, producing an antique/rustic finish:
Flamed - wavy and rough appearance, process developed based on fire with a thickness equal or higher than 3 cm. Suitable for outdoor use due to antiskid properties.
