Basalt is a volcanic rock originated from Italian volcanoes. Basalt is used always in coatings for exterior and, in thick layers, in road paving.

The characteristic color of Basalt, on average, from black to dark gray uniform with points of one or more colors, is significant appreciation in contemporary architecture, where it is used primarily in square slabs at a fixed amount.
