The first thing you notice in the kitchen is how much natural light pours in through the windows. Combined with high ceilings and white cabinets, the contrast of the dark leather absolute black countertops really make a statement while preserving the long term functionality of this kitchen. The 2″ Miter on the edge really makes these countertops look heavy, which is exactly what a kitchen this size commands. Moving upstairs to the master and guest bathrooms we went with a Calacatta Gold marble to match the tiles on the wall. Keeping these spaces traditional, but not overdone are lots of square corners, honed finish and sharp eased edges.
For the kids bathroom Oasis Blue marble was used to keep the room simple yet distinct. The sun room fireplace features Misty Blue limestone (aka Azul Bateig) to keep the space feeling open and light
