Lilac Kashmir Slate Slabs & Tiles

Slate is a homogenous metamorphic rock derived from shale. Immense underground or undersea pressure over the eons has transformed the loose layers of shale rock into a foliated slate. Slate is normally gray in color, but additional minerals and impurities trapped between the layers give slate its wide array of colors.
