We have invested in the most up to date technology available, including a CNC (computer numeric control) Bridge Saw, and a CNC 4 Axis Mill with a CNC Lathe. This technology allows us the versatility to mill complex profiles, including radial, which would be required for complex stone cladding jobs, spiral staircases, and columns.
In addition, the CNC Mill with Lathe has 3D scanning technology which allows us to produce intricate carved stone pieces ranging from modern corporate nameplates to traditional carved stone architectural elements. This operates by scanning a scaled model of the required product, then replicating it to the required size. The reverse engineering technology is perfect for historic reproductions from original carvings, but that's only the start of the possibilities. Scrolled vine panels, Corinthian capitals, roped columns, fluted columns, balusters, ornamental crests, medallions, and more are all available from our skilled architectural division.
