De Opkamer is mainly specialized in antique stone mantles and marble fireplaces. We only find sometimes some beautiful wood fireplaces. We also have a fine collection of antique castle fireplaces ranging from the ornate Renaissance period to the simple lines of antique period fireplaces like Louis XIII. These big French antique stone fireplaces often have a fireplace a trumeaux on top. These antique fireplace mantels with trumeaux are typically seen throughout France. At any one time we will be able to offer a selection of hundreds of antique French and Italian fireplaces surrounds in our workshop.
