Khalvangah Travertine Tiles, Red Travertine Slabs

This quarry is located in East Azerbaijan province 12 km off west part of Azar-Shahr and 3km before Kalvanagh village in the main road of Tabriz towards Ajabshir.
Exploitation from Kalvanagh quarry is carried out in three active workshops of A, B and C of which the red travertine extracted from workshop A with 10 benches of 80 SQM each and annual production of 12000 tons. Yellow travertine extracted from workshop B and C with 8 benches of 60 SQM and yearly production of 5000 tons. Exploitation is carried out by sophisticated methods of mapping, general positioning service, modern machineries and equipments with suitable block size perfect for export as well as domestic markets.
Red travertine definite deposits on the official exploitation document are 65000 tons and estimated quantity 1,000,000 tons. Meanwhile, Kalvanagh quarry surrounding area contains yellow and light walnut travertine deposits with a forecasted quantity of 1,200.000 tons.
