These beautifully hand carved Rokkaku-Yukimi Lanterns have traditional square legs and a hexagonal light chamber. The light chamber (Hibukuro) is carved with a new & full moon. Traditionally they are placed near streams or ponds, but look stunning in garden surrounds. The upturned roof points help capture snowfall, which signifies purity.
Note: This lantern is a hand carved from natural granite so variations and imperfections may occur.
