The development of stonemasonry as a craft has developed throughout this history leaving a legacy of ecclesiastical architecture for which there is an ongoing requirement of repairs and restoration.
In 2008 Yorkshire Stone Craft Ltd were awarded the Stone Federation of Great Britain’s Natural Stone Award in the repair and restoration category for the replacement of several complete tracery windows at the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Blackpool.
We are offer a fully equipped service to survey, design and manufacture all ecclesiastical stonework that maybe required on repair and restoration schemes no matter how prestigious a building. We understand that the majority of the quarries from which these great buildings where originally built are now either disused or closed. However, using our vast knowledge of the quarries still active throughout the United Kingdom we are usually able to source a material suitably matched in colour and durability.
