Product Description

In the area of Prilep the marble masses are part of the Pelagonian metamorphic complex occurring as several pertographic types: - sugary white marbles present in the Sivec – Nebregovo zone; - calcic grey in the Kozjak zone; - fine-grained dolomite with composition that is finer than the white sugary white in the Belovodica – Melnica zone; - and dark marbles in the Debriste zone. It is of note that the division is not always clear, so in some they occasionally occur as interlayers with calcite. It should be said that the marbles near Prilep are abundant and are an important raw material for which a number of processing plants can be put into operation in future. It must be said that in decorative dimension stone industry the commercial name of the product plays an important role. In that regard the name of the marble SIVEC implies that there is great demand for it in theworld.
