Product Description
Witton Fell is a fine grain buff grit stone from the carboniferous age. It is generally buff in colour with occasional light brown flecks and veins. Its properties make it suitable for fine carvings, masonry, and walling.
Witton Fell Quarry
Situated near Jervauix in North Yorkshire Whitten Fell quarry has been active for around 100 years with large reserves. Originally used in the construction of Jervauix Abbey and East Witton Church.
