Natural faced yorkstone paving is traditionally known as riven yorkstone paving. The riven face is achieved using a century old technique. Our skilled stone masons hand split yorkstone slab rocks to create this unique natural faced paving stone. They can then hand fettle the paving stone for a traditional and dressed look or create a sawn edge for a more smoother and uniformed finish.
Yorkstone is known for being a high quality product. Riven Yorkstone Paving is extremely versatile and can be used both indoor and outdoor in a number of different ways including driveways, pathways, patios and indoor flooring.

Specialised Yorkstone Supplies can supply Riven Yorkstone Paving in two different finishes – hand fettled or sawn edged. All our paving stones come in a width of 600mm by lengths of a random size. If a more smoother edged finish is required the edges of the paving stone can be machine sawn creating a more uniformed finish and ensuring a complete straight edge
