Sesame Limestone Tiles, Beige Iran Limestone Tiles & Slabs

Limestone is softer and less dense than Travertine and has its own particular beauty in both texture and colour. Generally, limestone colours can be somewhat lighter than Travertine and come in the 'cooler' shades of off-white and grey, though warmer tones of browns are also available.
There is a huge variation in quality. The cheaper limestones will be less dense and softer, therefore much greater and more rapid wear may take place.
At Stone & Tile Studio we are committed to sourcing the finest product. We look for limestones that are harder and more tightly ?bound together'. These are formed under greater pressure and at a greater in situ depth than that of their cheaper cousins.
A quality limestone will be smoother, the texture finer and the colour more uniform, with few if any darker marks or veins and will be suitable for both indoor or outdoor applications.
For maintenance reasons sealing is highly recommended of both our Sesame and Cloudy limestone.
