One Stone World is a full service company performing the functions of Design, Shop-Drawings, Value-Engineering, Project Management and Stone Supply to high quality residential and commercial projects throughout the USA and worldwide.
One Stone World works closely with its in-house drafting department to assist the architect, general contractor and owner in developing a budget and schedule to achieve the desired design at best value.
While the scope of the stone work is defined by the architectural drawings, One Stone World will provide pricing and value-engineering ideas based on the specified limestone. One Stone World will then submit “Range Samples” or “Mock-ups” representative of the stone for final approval on the project. The “Range Samples” or “Mock-ups” will be typical of the minimum, average and maximum range of color, texture and finish to be delivered to the job.
One Stone World will prepare and submit complete shop drawings and cutting tickets of the stone work for approval. These drawings will show in detail, the sizes, sections and dimensions of all stones as well as the arrangement of joints and bonding. Each stone indicated on the shop drawings will bear the corresponding number marked on an unexposed surface of the actual piece. Cutting tickets will be issued by One Stone World for the fabrication of each piece of stone on the project.
Once approval of shop drawings is received, all the individual stones will be cut accurately to shape and dimension with jointing as shown on approved drawings. Stones will be fabricated and shipped based on the appropriate schedule and sequencing defined and approved by all parties.
Our team will consistently monitor and check the stone during fabrication at the plant so as to ensure perfect fitting onsite.
The fabricated stone will then be carefully packed for shipment so as to ensure damage-free shipping.
One Stone World’s management team then coordinates all delivery of fabricated material directly to the jobsite.
