Ivory Brown Granite 30mm Countertop, Single Undermount Sink

The client approached us with a brief to find a light coloured natural granite stone to suit their new units in a tradionally styled kitchen. We helped identify some options, and arranged for the client to visit one of our major local stone suppliers. We were able to help the client decide on a granite called Ivory Brown, with a thickness of 30mm. The client also asked us to supply a sink and tap, drainage grooves in the stone, a hob cut-out and upstands.
INSTALLATION
Having established that all the base units were in place and the hob was on site, we were able to template the kitchen, and deliver a single undermount sink, and matching tap from our preffered supplier, The 1810 Company. We discussed all finishes with the client and recommended a 100mm high upstand, with a slightly larger upstand below the matching granite stone window sill.
Installation lasted about 3 hours, during which time we ensured all worktop pieces fitted perfectly, the sink was positioned and sealed, and the hob was put in place. We then applied a water based product to ensure the stone was completely sealed, ready for the client to start using the following day.
