Product Description
The name Perlato di Sicilia comes from the beautiful aspect of this marble is unique about the environment in which it is used. Mainly composed of a shell rock, it shows a light ivory arabesque brown shades with a range of more or less dark spots and characteristics of pure calcite that recall the wonderful aspect of the interior pearly shells. The brownish-yellow veins are due to the concentration of clay minerals and iron oxides, while the brown spots are due to the presence of microfossils that, imprisoned in the marble make it incredibly stylish, great value.
