Sometimes used on marble and granite, usually upon special request to a fabricator. 3) antique: A textured, matte finish, mainly used on limestone and travertine. Also known as "brushed finish. " antique finishing gives stone a classic antique look, often enhanced by cobbled/chiseled edges. 4) tumbled: A rugged, antique, matte finish mainly used on limestone and travertine to give a very natural, unfinished look. 5) natural: A textured finish used on slates to give a natural, clefty look.
