Description:
Tonalite much resembles granite in terms of properties. Like granite, it is a very hard and durable plutonic rock, hence applicable in the same areas of use. The name derives from the Tonale-pass in Trentino where this natural rock can be found in larger deposits. Within our region, the tonalite is mined in the valley of Ahrntal, where it also leaves its marks in the landscape.
Use: This natural stone is particularly suitable for solid outdoor stairs, indoor and outdoor floors, kitchen worktops and fountains.
