Chipollino Marble is available in all types such as slabs, cut to size and various processes such as polished, honed and brushed.
Cipolino marble is produced at Styra area, in Evia Island. Its history cames back to the Ancient Greece as well as in the Ancient Italy, in Rome. It was used for the construction mostly of temples & churches all over the world. Well known monuments, such as Saint Peter’s Basilica in Venice, Hagia Sofia in Istanbul, the Temple of Olympus Zeus in Athens, are some of the monuments where Cipollino marble has been used for their construction & decoration. Additionally, in many contemporary contsructions has also been used such as in the Presidential Palace of Poland and also many commercial shops of very well known brands all over the world.
