Sivec is a white marble natural stone quarried near the town of Prilep in Macedonia.
Sivec was a famous material that was used in south-east Europe from the 3rd century BCE until the 5th century, producing some of the most visually stunning architecture and art of the ancient world. It is estimated that during these centuries, 1.2 million cubic meters of Sivec White Marble were mined from the mines in Prilep.
These days, Sivec has been developed to give the characteristic, exclusive white appearance and is used in many large well known projects including hotels, palaces and commercial buildings.
