The decorative natural Kavala stone is a phenomenal product in terms of both price/sqm and spectacular 3D arrangements. This stone has oxide in its composition, fact which ensures its rusty appearance while also making it extremely resistant in time. The Kavala Strips is made out of a very strong slate which is more than 60 million years old, forming under the layer of marble with the same name. This type of stone is imported from Greece, a country well-known for its natural wonders. The optimum size for the Kavanal natural slate is 7 cm x loose lengths and a thickness ranging from 0.5 to 1.2 cm. The 7 cm natural stone can be generally used for both indoor and outdoor vertical claddings. It can also be used for covering floors with medium traffic since it is such a strong material. Its grey color make it easy to match with wood, metal or glass, fact which makes it suitable for rustic, modern and contemporary decorations.
