Product Description
Soapstone Masonry Heater
Soapstone Masonry Heaters, Wood Burning Stoves, and Custom Fireplaces
Soapstone masonry heaters, provide comfortable radiant heat. They have been used to heat homes in Northern Europe and Scandinavia for centuries.
Conventional wood burning stoves, made from steel and/or cast iron, sometimes lined with thin soapstone tiles, will not provide the amount of heat a real soapstone stove will deliver. Our soapstone masonry heaters work like a battery; you burn wood for 3 hours, the energy is stored in the thick soapstone slabs, then evenly distributed over a period of as long as 20 hours (depending on house insulation) after the fire is out.
