Black Marquina Marble is a natural black stone with some white, compact and fine-grained veins. Color variations depend on the intensity of the black color and the abundance of the veining and white fossils. It can pass from an almost absolute black color to another where the white veining abounds. It is extracted mainly in Marquina, locality of which it takes its name in the province of Vizcaya (Spain).
It is a reference black marble being considered one of the most important of this color all over the world. Supports multiple applications: in soil, indoor and outdoor, stairs, coatings and coatings. It is common to find it in the decoration of interiors like chimneys, diverse furniture, design of baths and kitchen worktops among other applications.
It can be used alone or in combination with other natural stones of lighter tone as well as those of white color and admits any type of finish.
