Product Description

Clean up spills immediately. Use an absorbent cloth followed by StonePro Daily Cleaner.

Use trivets and cutting boards. Place hot pots on a trivet, not directly on the countertop. Protect your fine cutlery by using a cutting board, not cutting directly on the granite.

Use coasters and placemats. Your granite countertop is an investment in your home and protecting the granite countertop from food and drink spills will maintain the brand new appearance indefinitely.

Use sandpaper to easily sand out scratches that occur on your new countertop. Lightly sand scratches with 180 grit sandpaper followed by 220 grit sandpaper (included in Care & Use kit).

Use a light coat of sealer to prevent the natural darkening (patina) that occurs over time. Soapstone does not require sealing but a light coat of our StonePro Sealer will help maintain the countertop’s appearance. Saratoga Soapstone Wax can be used to darken and enhance the stone’s natural color.

We invite you to visit, look around, and get inspired!
