Product Description

The Calocara A-102 Quarry in the Miseglia basin in Carrara (Italy). The Quarry is located on the slopes of the Apuan Alps at a height of 640 metres a s l at the top, and 570 metres asl. It extends in the open air for about forty thousand square metres between the Calocara and Bettogli sides of the marble basin with an actual capability of sixty thousand square metres. This quarry is active all year round and produces high quality marbles such as Statuario, Calacatta, Paonazzo and Paonazzetto, as well as the classic Bianchi di Carrara marbles, Venatino, Statuarietto and Bardiglio (see samples).
