Tonalite is an igneous intrusive rock, produced by the crystallization of magma inside the magma chambers located beneath the surface of the Earth.
It is a light gray rock, with dark microgranular mafic minerals. The rock is compact and massive, without cavities or breakings.
It is also called “Granito dell’Adamello”, because its structural zone of origin is Massiccio dell’Adamello (Presanella).
Its geotechnical properties make this rock suitable for both indoor and outdoor works.
