Serizzo Formazza Stair Steps and Risers

Formazza's gneiss is probably the most appreciated material from the stone industry, for its brightness and durability. It is a medium-grained stone of a black and light gray color with some white elements given by the presence of muscovite. The foliation or the stratification with a flat and penetrating structure typical of the rocks in its formation and transformation, is clearly visible to the naked eye and tells the story of this natural stone.

EXTRACTIVE SITES

Serizzo extraction takes place in Val d'Ossola in the Province of Verbano - Cusio - Ossola (Piedmont) and precisely in two rich and productive sites such as: quarry Crotto di Fogarso and Presa Pioda, Premia (VB).
