Marble Mosaic Picture,Art Works

Our company has been quarryng marble from the historic Rapuano quarry for some thirty years. In the last two years, we have concentrated our efforts in perfetcting a new and highly innovative technique that will turn this magnificent natural resource, found here in southern Italy and know as "the marble of Vitulano" into a new and exciting product. By combining our expertise in actually digging out the marble with the skills of talented and artistic local artisan, we work hard to bring out the amazing natural colors of the stone and use them to create life-like mosaic the like of which have never before been seen in the history of this art form.
"Capturing reality in stone" or in other words, using this new technique to make mosaic that are veritable works of art that reflect the creativity of the artist who uses miniscule "tesserae" or tiles made from the very same marble that the great italian architect Vanvitelli so appreciated centuries ago..
What is more, the completed pieces will last in eternity, as the colors are those naturally present in the marble and will never fade..
