One of the items we do is fireplace surrounds as well as hearths & mantels. A lot of the fireplaces we do are just simple flat surrounds trimmed out with wood, but we also do some elaborate 3D mouldings for the surrounds as well as mantels. The same 3D work we do for fireplaces can also be done for window & door casings. Previously all moldings were made straight and then mitered (whether it be for a door or a fireplace). Now, however using our breton NC350 CNC mill we can machine the pieces so that the joints are straight, which allows for a cleaner installation. Or in the case of an arched fireplace or door/window opening, we can machine an arched moulding. Below are pictures of various style fireplace surrounds we have done, from the most basic flat surround to extremely intricate 3D profiles.
