Ruivina Escura Marble Tiles & Slabs

Description: The Ruivina Dark Marble is a dark grey /bluish coloured marble, fine grained. In terms of hardness, it is a fairly hard marble. It´s main variations depend on the vein intensity and more or less dark coloured background. It´s a rock that has little absorption.

Use Recommendations: It can be commonly found on a diversity of interior and exterior applications. It is common to find it in cladding, flooring, diverse stonework, coverings and other applications.

Water absorption at atmospheric pressure: 0.1 %

Open porosity: 0.1(4) %

Thermal linear expansion coefficient (max. value): 5.4 X 10 ^-6 /ºC

Abrasion resistance (Amsler-Laffon): 2.6 mm / 200 m

Impact test - minimum fall height: 50 cm

Notes: No colour or structural changes on the samples were noticed after the 25 freeze-thawing cycles carried out.
