Stone blocks are mined with a chainsaw or more advanced machines in stone quarries. Stone blocks are cut into different dimensions and taken to the factory for processing. Based on non-fracture and stone dimensions, stone blocks are classified into three categories

Single stone blocks in the shape of cubes, weighing 20 to 25 tons each. They are considered the strongest and most valuable type of stone blocks and are loaded individually.

Double stone blocks that have smaller dimensions compared to single blocks and are loaded in double.

Triple slate blocks are boulders with one dimension smaller than the others and are loaded in triplicate.

Stone blocks with a regular geometric shape and large dimensions that are extracted from the mine are used to make slabs with a slab cutting machine, while stone blocks with smaller dimensions and irregular geometric shapes are used to make tiles with a tile cutting machine.

Book match and four match of stone is kind of stone processing that involves putting many slabs together to make very attractive and eye-catching designs.

The terms “book match” and “four match” apply to the design on the stone. Two slabs with completely identical and symmetrical designs are placed next to each other in the book match stone, and their connecting line is their line of symmetry.

The difference between four match stones and book match is the shape of the design. Four slabs are placed next to each other and two lines of symmetry are created.

Different types of onyx, marble, porcelain, travertine and even granite, which are of good quality and have a suitable design, can be processed as Book match and Four Match stones.
