Pietra Trachite Rosa Blocks

Trachyte Artigiana has three different sites authorized for trachyte extraction, located in the Ittiri and Banari area.
The quarries are formed by blocks of various sizes with large fractures between one block and another and not by a single bench as in the case of granite.
The particular characteristics of our stones, the ease of processing and the link with the territory have been the reason for their great use in the past, for the construction of urban centers and prestigious buildings. If the use of stone is therefore of fundamental importance in restoration and flooring, the new design culture is rethinking its placement in different contexts.
The quarries are the starting point of the production process. Here the material is extracted with the help of the excavator and is selected and separated according to the different qualities and characteristics, and then sent to the laboratory for subsequent processing.
In all three sites, the work to extract the material is carried out as indicated in the projects approved by the Regional Department of Industry, together with which an environmental restoration and recovery plan was presented.
