Marble from Danby, Vermont is well known for it’s clean white overall coloration with light veining. Vermont Montclair Danby Marble is available in both fleuri (cross-cut) or Striato (vein-cut). Montclair Striato is similar to the Italian Zembrino marble.
Greenish to gray veins typically running diagonally or horizontally as with the Striato. Medium to heavy veining often used for book matching in fleuri cut. A beautiful and cost effective choice for kitchen countertops. It’s also one of the major white marbles used for many buildings in Washington D.C.
Typical Slab Sizes are: 104-108″ x 54-62″
Also available in 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ thick polished or honed.
