Snow Fall Granite 3cm Kitchen Countertops
This was another amazing transformation. It does sometimes hurt removing a beautiful granite top, but it was absolutely the right choice for this kitchen. We removed the old tops, cut down the raised bar, reworked the bookcases at the ends of the island, rewired all the electrical in the raised bar, installed an air switch for disposal and did all new under cabinet lighting. The stone used is 3 cm snowfall granite with an eased edge detail and an undermount Wurkstation sink.
Cleaning granite countertops is a fairly simple process, but it is important to use the right materials and techniques to avoid damaging the surface. Here are some steps you can follow to clean your granite countertops:
Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe down the countertop with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as these can scratch or etch the surface of the granite.
Rinse the countertop thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue.
Dry the countertop with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots and streaks.
For tougher stains or spills, you can use a specialized granite cleaner. Look for a cleaner that is specifically designed for use on granite and follow the instructions on the label.
If you have a stubborn stain or buildup, you can make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the affected area. Leave the paste on the stain for a few hours or overnight, then wipe it away with a soft cloth and rinse the countertop thoroughly with water.
To maintain the shine and protect the surface of your granite countertop, consider applying a granite sealer every 6-12 months. Follow the instructions on the sealer label and be sure to clean the countertop thoroughly before applying the sealer.
Overall, cleaning granite countertops is a relatively easy process as long as you use the right materials and techniques. With regular maintenance and care, your granite countertops can stay beautiful and durable for years to come.
