STONEGLASS® is born to offer a brand new material which is suitable to comply the new needs in terms of aesthetics with the trends of the market. STONEGLASS® keeps unaltered all the features of glass joining them with the qualities of natural stone. The final result is a strong element consisting of ceramics and silicon. It is made by a process of melting and crystallization of ceramics and silicon particles. The process is very similar to the natural condition of granite formation. Its look is very similar to marble but with better feature in terms of hardness, brightness, imperviousness and resistance. Laboratory tests prove that STONEGLASS® is homogeneous, durable, acid and alkaline proof and UV proof. STONEGLASS® is an eco-material. Neither resins nor solvents inside, it can be processed with no risk for health and it is odorless. Furthermore it is 100% recyclable. You can use the STONEGLASS® anywhere: indoor or outdoor such as kitchen worktops, floors, wall coverings, washbasins or facades.
STONEGLASS® is available in its color variations: white, matt white, black and matt black. There is the smooth finishing and the leather finishing.
The STONEGLASS® plates are available in 3 different thicknesses depending on the type of processing and performance characteristics: 12 mm thickness/ 18 mm thickness/ 30 mm thickness. The sizes of the plates are different. Also in this case to comply with client demand: 3060 mm x 1340 mm / 2860 mm x 1340 mm / 2660 mm x 1340 mm.
The processing of STONEGLASS® will be easy to handle, if you follow the specific guidelines. You get these instructions in addition to the supply of material. We can also provide processing videos for you.
