Quartz Products
Synthetic, manufactured quartz is also becoming more popular in today's market. Common varieties include silestone and cambria. The stone aggregates are mixed with a precise ratio of quartz, colour pigments and resins, and are then vibro-compated under 90 tons of pressure to remove air and compress the material into a formed slab. This slab is cured at 190 degrees for seven hours and finally polished to a high sheen with diamond polishers.
