Red Quartz Stone

Stone is an igneous rock and is formed from magma. Fractional crystallization serves to reduce a melt in iron, magnesium, titanium, calcium and sodium, and enrich the melt in potassium and silicon. Alkali feldspar (rich in potassium) and quartz, are two of the defining constituents of Stone. Stone has various origins and is at the depth of 1.5km to 50km from the earth. The origin of Stone is various so has led to different classifications.
