Idrokemi/Idrokemi Acqua Water-Repellent Protective

Features

Water-repellent protective covering to protect internal and external surfaces on absorbent substra-tes in stone, marble, limestones, quartzites and sand stones in general.
The product is a solution of siloxane resins in water solution that, after evaporating, leave the sub-strate neutral and without surface film. The treatment is breathable.
IDROKEMI / IDROKEMI ACQUA stops the absorption of rain water and consequently it limits penetration of smog, dust, dirty atmosphere and organic compounds, so that it is possible to keep the surfaces very clean with the passing of the years, but above all to avoid the degradation of the facades cau-sed by acid rains, organic proliferation and consequently moulds and lichens.

Application procedures

IDROKEMI / IDROKEMI ACQUA can be applied through brush, roller or pomp at low pressure/high volu-mes, on well cleaned and dry surfaces, with a lavish coat and in case of very absorbent substra-tes, the second coat shall be applied before the first one is dry.
To prolong the product life and to give the necessary durability warranties, we suggest to take care of maintenance with suitable biocidal STERMINATOR product dissolved at 3% in water.

The yield of IDROKEMI / IDROKEMI ACQUA varies for materials and processes:

• Glossy surfaces from 8 to 10 m² / lt;
• Sandblasted surfaces from 5 to 8 m² / lt;
• Cement agglomerates from 3 to 5 m² / lt.
