Bem 126 Water-Based Consolidator

BEM 126 is a mixture of water based resins designed to obtain an action of protection and stabilization of new and old surfaces of sandstone, cotto, grit, bricks and marbles, laid both inside and outside.
The application of our product allows a penetration inside the materials where it is employed, a sub-sequent stabilization action and finally a protection against the abrasion due to the features of the resins contained in it.
The action of BEM 126 is performed by setting up a thin physical barrier that limits dusting and chalking considerably and, in extreme cases, it stops flaking of stone substrates caused by the ab-sorption of moisture and rain. The substrates treated with BEM 126 will have the original consisten-cy again and the stone surface will become waterproof and moisture resistant. Excellent finishing over the stain protection to simplify the removal of car tyres.

Application procedures

Apply BEM 126 on well cleared and dry surfaces, laying it with a cloth or a brush, paying attention to level out the product well and avoid streaks.
The product is to apply up to the substrate saturation. BEM 126 is ready to use and we suggest to clear the surface from possible product stacks.
You can apply it on sandstones as: pietra serena, peperino, golden stone, terre cotte, marbles in general, limestone, laid both inside and outside.

Yield

The yield is 4-6 m² / lt.
For poorly absorbent surfaces the yield can increase up to 12 m² / lt. In case of application on compact substrates, therefore poorly absorbent, it is recommended to dilute a part of Bem 126 with a part of water.
