4 columns block cutter for cutting granite, lava stone and marble blocks into strips by means of a set of vertical diamond discs and a horizontal disc. It works on stationary block.
M585 is available in several versions according to the vertical discs maximum diameter (from 1300 to 1700 mm) and to the maximum number of vertical discs (34 or 56 discs). It can be equipped with automatic or semi-automatic unloaders.
This 4 columns machine cuts stationary block and produces 460/650 max. wide strips with thickness dimension from 10 mm for modulgranito up to 80 mm for paving stones.
The machine can work even without block carrier trolleys since all movements are performed by its operational units.
M585 machine maintains in time top cutting precision with minimum diamond discs consumption and very reduced costs for production maintenance and depreciation.
The four holding columns, with their large foot bases strongly fixed to the foundation, are stiffened at the top ends through sturdy connecting beams and side ribs.
Four sliders, that move along the columns, support the transversal beams/bridge assembly. All such components, that were made in normalized large thickness steel work, form an extremely rigid structure.
The discs holder trolley, driven by a gear motor/pinion/rack system, slides along two “V” guides in oil bath with the interposition of anti friction slides.
In addition to this, four contrast wheels compact trolley and bridge to realize a “ clearance- free”trolley sliding system.
The discs stack, that is positioned on the trolley/bridge assembly centreline, favours the whole discs holder trolley mass to integrate in a balanced way the contrast wheels action.
Oleodynamic plungers lock automatically the two mobile uprights to the transversal beams during the vertical cutting phase.
Owing to this peculiar construction technology, M585 reduces to zero the discs traction action on the trolley, eliminates vibrations and realizes high quality cuts combined with very reduced diamond consumption.
The cutting parameters are pre set through the key board. Work cycles are controlled through PLC, positions and parameters are visualized in real time on display.
All motion motors are controlled through vectorial inverters and the movements precision is ensured though position digital transducers(encoder).
The inverter for main motor speed control and adjustment, particularly recommended for the optimal discs utilization, is available as optional.
The large dimension remote electric panels are air-conditioned by means of a heath exchanger and are dust proof and water proof in compliance with I P 54 ( EN 60529) standards.
