MAMMUT 50 / 75 4-Column Granite Block Cutting Machine

FEATURES
Load-bearing structure composed of four vertical columns joined together by crossbeams
Bridge-trolley unit lifted by means of four screws guided by sliders with slide blocks made of anti-friction material; the entire unit is protected by a stainless steel guard.
Vertical movement is performed by means of a self braking gearmotor driven by inverter.
Large-sized shoulders with milled surfaces and hardened steel interchangeable tracks on which the disc-carrying bridgetrolley unit slides. Sliding takes place on roller cages in oil bath protected by PVC bellows.
The overhead bridge unit with a robust electrowelded steel structure in which two V-shaped guides have been formed for the trolley to slide on.
A self-braking gearmotor driven by inverter is used to drive the trolley, fitted with a braking device positioned on the opposite side to the gearmotor to guarantee its correct and stable positioning during cutting.
A rack and pinion with slanting teeth and corresponding inverterdriven gearmotor are used to translate the overhead bridge unit.
Disc-carrying trolley sliding on broad cross-section cast iron prismatic slide blocks in oil bath protected by special guards. Movement is performed by means of a rack and pinion with slanting teeth and corresponding inverter -driven gearmotor.
Ø 210 mm disc shaft, for the simultaneous use of 50/75 1000 mm diameter discs.
To guarantee a long service life and maximum resistance to corrosion, all the surfaces have been sand-blasted, galvanised and carefully painted with dual component epoxy paints.
On request, the machine can be supplied in a version performing the simultaneous cut of two blocks.
