The segment is a double-radius single layer type. Bigger iameter blades are available also in a multi-layered segment
configuration.
In addition to the standard core (STD), there are also available two different types of silenced cores.
The sandwich SIL core (made with 3 side by side layers of steel-copper-steel) and the LASER core.
This core is a single layer steel core carved with laser rays.
The groves are then filled with vulcanized rubber to dampen the noise.
