The hardness reaches 7.5 Mohs and the specific gravity is at 3.95 g/cm3.
Spiculate crystalloid, ferrum-aluminum oxide, with deep-red, sharp, clean and uniform granule of 60 and 80 mesh, is the preferred and best choice for abrasive waterjet cutting.
