SGD are synthesized by Cubic Press under high temperature high pressure(HTHP) circumstances, mainly applied in sawing and drilling industries. SGD are used for making diamond saw blades, saw beads, diamond drills,diamond wire saw, diamond segment,etc.

There are different grades for SGD, SGD720,SGD730,SGD740,SGD750,SGD760,SGD770,SGD780,SGD790, which are from low level to hight in quality (shape, purity, strength, thermal stability, compact resistance,etc.)





Grades:
SGD720
Characteristics: Angular shape, low toughness, high brittleness.

Applications: Application in the condition of lower load and impact strength; Recommended to make metal bond or electroplated tools for low load conditions, such as small blades,etc.

SGD730
Characteristics: Wide scope of particle shapes, low toughness, low impact resistance.

Applications: Applied in low load condition, like sawing soft materials and polishing stones, concrete,etc.

SGD740
Characteristics: Include part of regular crystal shape, comparatively low toughness, thermal stability, better selfsharpness.

Applications: Applied in sawing soft-hard materials, majorly used for
making general purpose cutting discs.

SGD750
Characteristics: Comparatively regular crystal shape, medium-low
toughness, thermal stability.

Applications: Applied in relatively low power and impact conditions, like
sawing and grinding construction materials, marble,etc.

SGD760
Characteristics: Comparatively regular crystal shape, medium-high toughness and thermal stability.

Applications: Applied in the condition of strong impact, high-speed cutting and relatively low power. This grade is a widely used one, which is for sawing and drilling non-ferrous materials, like refractory, concrete,
glass, marble, etc.

Characteristics: Regular crystal shape, high strength and thermal stability, better sharpness and relative long tool Life.

Applications: Applied in making sawing and drilling tools for hard materials, like granite, concrete,etc.
