Introduction
Green silicon carbide in a resistance type electric furnace with petroleum coke, quartz sand and other materials.It is an extremely hard (Knoop 2600 or Mohs 9.4) manufactured material with high thermal conductivity (100 W/m-K).In addition, it also has high strength at elevated temperatures (at 1000°C, Green SiC is 7.5 times stronger than Al2O3).It is the higher purity silicon carbide manufactured with typically>98.5%of SiC. The Green Silicon Carbide (SiC) is produced basically in the same process as black crystal type is alpha phase silicon carbide in the form of hexagonally shaped platelets.

Application
1. Abrasive use: silicon carbide has very high hardness, processing glass, ceramics, stone, cast iron and some non-ferrous metals, hard alloy, titanium alloy, high-speed steel tool and grinding wheel, etc.
2. Ceramic materials: used for making advanced silicon carbide ceramic materials such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance;
3. Refractory materials and corrosion resistant materials: silicon carbide can be used for grinding tools, ceramic products used in kiln shaggar and sagger, zinc smelting industry vertical cylinder for distillation furnace of silicon carbide brick, aluminum electrolytic bath lining, crucible, small pieces of furnace material and other silicon carbide ceramic products
