EDGE POLISHING
To polish the sides of marble and granite, SAID offers a series of wheels with decreasing grain sizes. The first operation of edge roughing is carried out for the most part by two successive positions of metallic bond wheels which, depending on the type of machinery, can be segmented or with continuous rim. During the next step of edge polishing, a total of maximum 8 resinoid bond wheels are used in succession. SAID edge polishing wheels, available in different diameters depending on the thickness of the slab, will entirely meet the requirements of frontal as well as toroidal processing.
